"Aang," She whimpered in a pleading manner; tears instantly began to pool in her beautiful blue eyes as she gazed at the airbender in complete worry.
Aang instantly knew this was going to be a hard road to go down. From the look on her gentle face, he knew it was hard to see him leave like this. He heaved a long, dry sigh before stepping over to his love, embracing her in a loving and welcoming hug. He pulled away after a few moments, gazing into her eyes, his hands held firmly on her wet cheeks.
"Listen to me," He said calmly, yet in a shakey tone, as he gazed deeply into Katara's teary and glassy blue eyes, "Take care of everyone while I'm gone... It should be no trouble for you...I promise I won't be gone for very long..."
Aang heaved another sigh before softly letting his eyes flutter shut, but then re-opening them to find they too had gathered with tears. He gazed deeply into Katara's eyes, his lip began to quiver at the thought of saying what he was about to say.
"A-and, if I... don't come back..." Aang shut his eyes again and tilted his head downward, not wanting to burst out into a cry fit, knowing that'd only push Katara's sensitivity for this moment into depression. Katara whimpered at his words as more tears slid down her cheeks, she in turn, shook her head in disbelief. Aang then returned his gaze to his love before softly leaning forward and catching Katara in a gentle kiss. He pulled away after a moment or two, to conclude his final goodbye.
"I love you."

Yes! This will be in my third book guys and NO I haven't forgotten and YES I have already started planning/pre-writing the very last chapter of Water and Air!
