Naw, Vyn couldn't be doing ATLA fanart. Could she?? yesh yesh  Mikey and I are pulling an all nighter together (his idea this time!!  ) and I thought I'd whip out some good 'ol Avatar fanart - it's been ages since I've drawn Aang  ..But, when I saw Transformers the other day with my best friend  , the 'The Last Airbender' trailer was in the previews. and even though I've WATCHED said trailer nearly 537 times on youtube, seeing it in theatres almost made me cry!!! I mean, Avatar has been like, I'm not kidding, my entire 'highschool' childhood... I fell in love w/it as I was in 8th grade going into Freshman year, and I've never stopped loving it ever since. Even now, being a Freshman in college.I really need to do more ATLA fanart. you can expect a LOT more now with the whole god damn trilogy thing mo bob coming out into theatres. It is like, honestly, or WAS, my life.. it's like in my blood now, this stupid fandom is like, GRARG *consumes Teenuh*  Can vouch for me. She's been my besty of all besties since kindergarten, and she was with me through my crazy 'I'm Katara' phase lol. Seriously if some of you knew me freshman and sophmore year, I am so sorry.Lindz, I owe you my LIFE for all the hell I put you through, forcing you to sit down and watch new ATLA eps w/me xD and even coming to you basically crying when something LITTLE would break the balance of 'Kataang' ... I love you! *^* ... anyways, I thought it was about time I whipped something up, and I'm VERY pleased w/this outcome!! I used to think Aang would be hot in RL. but seeing who was cast for him in the live action makes me cry a little inside. curse you M. Night! no jk lol I have high hopes for the movie  hopefully he'll get older, and hotter, like Harry Potter, as the trilogy continues.Speaking of Harry Potter. Opening night. midnight premier. Elle + Tina + Alex = hyper psychos. Outside of my family nobody I knew liked Avatar (minus later my boyfriend, which I brought up to speed sometime near the end of book 2, now he's a complete Avatard. Even re-watching some eps atm.) So you are lucky to have shared experienced and fond memories. Haha, I think Avatar is just not your normal "good vs. Evil" because the characters here have so much depth. It's not just "destroy the monster" There are consequences. Also I like that when they fight in ATLA they FIGHT. So many ppl around me where into Bleach and Naruto and I couldn't stand it when they'd have to make some 20 minute long speech in the middle of killing
each other.

I remember even my mom got into ATLA. but she didn't watch it consistently enough to get everything that was happening so I'd fill in. I remember some summers, turning on the TV, see a repeat and switch the channel whereas she'd walk into the room and go "But.. I like Aang..." : (

ANYWAY!!! This piece is full of love and shiny blue tatoo's. Aang feels totally ready for some fourth of july fireworks.
